Abstract

This study examined explosive power, speed, and agility in youth soccer players aged 15 to 18 years, highlighting normative tables as tools for sports education and training management. Grounded in formative performance assessment and youth athlete development, the study included 1,842 players from Turkish soccer clubs. Participants completed 10-m and 30-m sprint tests, the standing long jump, and the T-test. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlation, simple linear regression, ANOVA, and percentile classifications. The findings showed that explosive power significantly predicts speed and agility performance, with progressive improvements across age groups. The results indicate that physical assessment can support pedagogical planning, individualized monitoring, and evidence-based management of youth training programs. Furthermore, standardized normative parameters can serve as diagnostic tools to reduce premature sports exclusion, promote more inclusive practices, and foster the holistic development of young athletes.
