Digital transformation has become a key trend in education, reshaping management, teaching, and learning in the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. This study examines the current state of digital transformation in Vietnamese education, focusing on leaders’ and teachers’ perceptions, the integration of digital technologies in teaching, and key implementation challenges. A mixed-methods approach was employed, including policy analysis, surveys, and in-depth interviews at selected institutions. Findings show that initial progress has been achieved, particularly in the adoption of online platforms and digital tools. However, major challenges persist, such as limited infrastructure, insufficient teacher digital competence, and the absence of effective management and evaluation mechanisms. The study proposes solutions to improve digital transformation effectiveness, including enhancing teacher competencies, strengthening governance frameworks, and increasing investment in technological infrastructure.
