La alfabetización mediática como ámbito de resistencia crítica frente a la desinformación ideológica en las redes sociales

un estudio cualitativo sobre la Generación Z

Resumen

Este estudio cualitativo investiga cómo los participantes de la Generación Z perciben, interpretan y responden a la desinformación ideológica en las redes sociales. Se adopta un enfoque de estudio de caso basado en entrevistas semiestructuradas y en profundidad realizadas a 18 participantes seleccionados mediante muestreo por criterios, todos ellos usuarios activos de Facebook, X e Instagram. El estudio se fundamenta en el modelo de desorden informativo de Wardle y Derakhshan, en los enfoques de van Dijk y Eagleton sobre la ideología, en el análisis de Çakmak sobre la desinformación ideológica y en las perspectivas de alfabetización mediática crítica de Potter y Livingstone. Los resultados indican conciencia sobre la desinformación ideológica, el partidismo, los perfiles falsos, las cuentas de trolls, la manipulación de imágenes y la gestión de la percepción. Sin embargo, las respuestas son predominantemente individuales y defensivas, con poca verificación sistemática de la información. Se concluye que la alfabetización mediática debe incluir la evaluación de fuentes, la interpretación contextual, el reconocimiento de los marcos ideológicos y la comprensión de los algoritmos, fortaleciendo así la ciudadanía democrática y la participación crítica en entornos digitales.
