Quality of basic school in the national education conferences (1990-2004)

The article discusses the basic quality of public schools, having as reference the documents organized in the National Education Congress (CONED), between the years 1996-2004. Based on the discussion and analysis of bibliographic documents, questioning what quality is advocated for die basic school. As a result, notes that the concept of quality m social championed in the Coneds considers as fimdamental the public financing for education, to ensure the attendance of this social law and that this concept of quality was appropriate by the educational policies of neoliberal form decontextualized, not expressing in these appropriations related to the objectives of in die CONED.
