Abstract

The text presents the mapping of the researches of Masters and Doctorate Degree which refer to the current educational policies about the formation of teachers in the pedagogy course performed in the post-graduation programs in education in the State of Paraná in the period of 2006 to 2012. It approaches primarily the recent study named “state of the art”, performed about the formation of teachers in Brazil. Guided by the study’s result, it discusses the current policies referred to the formation of teachers being guided by the historical materialism to comprehend the changes that occurred in the period in which were outlined the Brazilian educational reforms. For the understanding of the changes occurred in the education in this context, it was necessary to understand the changes in the productive restructuring, the influence of the international organizations, the minimization of the State, the educational reforms and the exigency of the economic sector in the worker’s formation to attend the new demands of the market. The researches casted discuss the economic issues as determinant factors so that it would occur the alterations in the education, in the formation of teachers in specific, making it looser, fragmented and precarious.
