Competência de professores universitários em organizar e realizar ensino a distância em uma universidade

Resumo

O presente estudo tem como objetivo analisar a influência do autoaperfeiçoamento profissional na efetividade do trabalho docente na modalidade a distância. A partir de um estudo empírico utilizando o método de survey, identificam-se os níveis de competências que compreendem a competência na organização e a condução da educação a distância entre professores no âmbito técnico-informacional e pedagógico. Os resultados obtidos atestam a necessidade de melhorar as qualificações pedagógicas dos professores no sentido de melhorar a competência no domínio das tecnologias informáticas de informação e sua aplicação na educação, bem como no domínio das tecnologias da Internet e ensino à distância.
