Formation in special education in brazil: retrospective and contemporary perspective

This paper discusses the politics of teacher education through a historical retrospective on the formation of teachers in special education in Brazil, pointing and reformulations formative trends over the years and the multiple influences exerted by different historical moments lived by the School of Education responsible for form teachers in the first cycle of Basic Education experts and managers, coordinators, supervisors and special education teachers. Addressing the impact of the National Curriculum Guidelines of Education for special education, describing more particularly the Education Course UNESP Marilia. Likewise, presents trends in training in this specific area, emphasizing some differences in different Brazilian states, arguing the absence of a training policy in special education and the different models that are installed in the country without a unification proposal of formation.
